About

Shikha is a jewelry designer, gemologist and poet. Having taught jewelry design at the Gemological Institute of America, in New York, she gave up the job at the reputed company to pursue her own business.

Her passion for design and creativity reflects in her bespoke line of jewelry. Due to her knowledge and educational background in the profession, she uses a gamut of genuine gemstones and various design techniques to create each piece.

Her style reflects a fusion of old and new techniques combined with modern design elements and current trends. Her jewelry has been described as "wearable art". Shikha has become known for her pieces that are designed to lift every day clothes, take you from the morning rush, mid day board meeting to late night drinks.

Apart from her collections which are ready to view, she also custom designs. Shikha consults by appointment from Hong Kong where she resides.

When she is not sitting with her sketch book, design materials or books, she can be found running after her two bigger passions in life, her kids. An avid affordable art aficionado and amateur artist, Shikha has the perfect outlet for her creativity through her jewelry and writing.

About Our Packaging

To the best of our ability we try to run an environmentally and socially conscious business. We keep our overall packaging very basic and minimum.

Each of our silver pieces are first enclosed in a plastic ziplock which is required to maintain the polish on the silver jewelry (silver is prone to getting tarnished when exposed to air and humidity). This is how we recommend you store all your silver jewelry and the bag we provide should last you for many, many years.
We also try to use recycled outer packaging when we mail out your orders.

The jewelry is then placed in a cotton gift bag.
Boxes are not provided unless requested and at a small charge.

For our bags, we're very happy to support a wonderful NGO, "Paalaguttapalle Bags" based in a village called Paalaguttapalle, in Andhra Pradesh India.
The NGO is run by a group of women in the village, who support not just their families, but also the village with their work. These high quality cotton bags can be used in multiple ways and are long lasting.
